6.     Wet Mopping/ Damp Mopping

A damp mop is used to remove spills & adhered soil that was not removed during the dry removal process. A wet mop will remove the light from the soil from the floor surface, which could otherwise become embedded in the surface or encapsulated in the finish. Equipment and Agent required is a Caution sign, floor cleaner, wet mop & bucket or Mop- wringer trolley, squeegee & detergent solution.
